The Environment
Experience Jet Ski Safaris on Australia’s Gold Coast, navigating the stunning Moreton Bay Marine Park. We’re the sole commercial watersports company permitted here, a privilege we honor by protecting this natural treasure. Our team takes care to minimise environmental impact by reducing wake near marine life, offering guests unforgettable wildlife encounters. Our jet skis produce minimal wash, safeguarding delicate ecosystems such as mangroves and sand islands.
One of our key conservation areas is the Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area, known for its lake and coastal swamp system. It is also part of the Moreton Bay Marine Park in which Jet Ski Safaris operates, which is listed as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention. Moreton Bay is one of only four wetlands in Queensland that has gained this international recognition.
While areas exist where ‘blasting your way full throttle’ is appropriate, it is important to note that certain areas feature delicate ecosystems and sensitive wildlife habitats. Jet Ski Safaris recognises the importance of minimising impact on these environments and encourages riders to exercise caution and responsibility throughout the tours. By adhering to a minimal impact code, our guests can ensure that their actions do not harm the natural surroundings or disturb wildlife.
Our Values
At Jet Ski Safaris, our commitment to preserving Australia’s waterways is integral to our operation. We actively support the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) and Volunteer Marine Rescue (VMR) through donations, and we encourage our customers to contribute to these causes during the checkout process. This collaboration enables us and our customers to play a vital role in marine conservation and safety, ensuring the beauty and longevity of our waterways for future enjoyment.
